We at Balanced Body Massage Group (BBMG) are an assembly of professionally trained and skilled therapists. Our objective towards our clients is to provide therapeutic services that balance the mind, body and spirit. We offer treatments such as massage therapy, colon hydrotherapy, and reflexology just to name a few. Additionally, a core of the staff at BBMG specializes in sports massage/injury prevention and vehicle accident recovery. BBMG has been serving the community since 2006 in the Melwood Professional Center in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Monique has been working in the health/wellness and fitness arenas since 2004. She became a licensed massage therapist in 2006. Her mission is to support the achievement of life balance through individual personal wellness. She is an advocate of massage for its release of physical/emotional stress and believes in massage therapy as an essential element for enhancing overall health and well-being. She intentionally creates massages suited to the individual and specific needs of her clients. Her approach delivers harmony and balance assisting with connecting and reconnecting with the body.
Shadonne is a licensed massage therapist specializing in neck and back pain, sports massage/injury prevention. She graduated in 2006 from National Massage Therapy Institute in Falls Church, VA. Shadonne has advanced training in Ashiastu and orthopedic/medical massage. She works with clients to relieve pain related to structural and muscular problems typically related to injury, stress, and everyday activities.
She is also a Self-Care Expert and RRCA Running Coach, working with beginner runners unsure where to begin. Her favorite pastime is reading and marathon running.
Diane is a Certified Colon hydrotherapist and reflexologist deeply committed to sharing her passion for health and well-being with others. She specializes in reflexology, natural health consulting, holistic and relaxation therapy, and pain/stress management. She has over 40 years of experience in the nursing field and is CPR/AED, First Aid qualified. Diane studied at The International School of Colon Hydrotherapy, Focus of Healing Center, Scranton Career School, and Nurse One, Inc. She has been a member of International Association of Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT) since 2007. Diane has experience in working with many different clients from children to seniors. One of her most heartfelt accomplishments were serving as a Foster parent for 13 years.
